HelpAge India gratefully acknowledges donation of software from Microsoft under its CSR program
HelpAge aims to reach out to 10 million senior citizens by 2013. The role of IT is to enable the organization to reach this goal by providing the necessary tools & technologies to the key stakeholders.
Though HelpAge has big aspirations to be a tech-savvy organization, being a Non Profit Organization, it does not have a big IT budget to support these aspirations. Therefore HelpAge looked out to companies who could help achieve these set goals at a minimum cost. And we are very proud and thankful to have Microsoft as a trusted partner in helping us achieve our goals.
The automation of HelpAge has been greatly dependent on Microsoft’s product. HelpAge's partnership with Microsoft started in the year 2005 when they donated licenses worth USD 50,764.
Continuing their Noble cause Microsoft then donated Licenses worth USD 86,497 in Jan 2007 and USD 4,37,351 in April 2009
The amount thus saved has been used to provide Direct and Indirect benefits to elders. On behalf of those elders who have benefited from Microsoft's donation, HelpAge would like to give its sincere thanks and hopes that Microsoft continues to believe in and support this cause.
