Old age is not a disease, a little care and caution can prevent or delay many disabilities. Keeping this in mind and the lack of specialized care available for elderly, HelpAge is now delving deeper into age care services, with regular Physio care services being provided in Delhi, Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Shimla (HP) and Cuddalore (TN) catering specifically to elder needs through old age homes & community based centres. 8000 treatments have been meted out in 2008 – 09.

Donations to HelpAge India are eligible for 100% tax exemption under section 35AC and 80GGA of Income Tax Act 1961. (Applicable in India only)
