Location: Head Office, Delhi
Reports to: Head of Communications
Work from Office (Mandatory, with exceptions to govt. regulations during special circumstances)
Qualifications:
- BA - English Literature
- Degree in Mass Communication (preferable, not mandatory)
- Work experience (minimum 2 years of experience)
- Fluency in spoken and written English & Hindi
- Strong content writing skills
- Sharp editing & proofreading skills
- Good visual/designing skills
- Hands-on knowledge of video editing (mandatory)
- Applicable knowledge of at least one design & one video editing multimedia software such as: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere/ Filmora or any other video editing software, Canva, Mailchimp, Excel, Corel draw, Illustrator etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop social media strategy: Spearhead it from start to finish across all social media platforms - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Blogs, etc.
2. Content creation:
- Prepare Annual Content Calendar for all social media platforms & organizational website
- Write social media content and create infographics
- Create short and long form videos
- Regular reporting of analytics and trends
- Staying updated and tracking global news & trends
3. Develop brand awareness and constant 365*24*7 online reputation: Ensure overall standardization of the brand image and reputation on social media.
4. Partnerships: Foster collaborations with bloggers, influencers and organisations.
5. Creative Campaigns: Develop platform-specific campaigns to boost engagement and audience reach.
6. Trainings: Periodically conduct online and offline trainings for HelpAge personnel and mentor interns/volunteers.
7. Coordinate with State and program teams: across the country to obtain relevant content and information for digital use. Organize photo/video shoots, if required, to get relevant content.
8. Travel: May require travel to HelpAge India’s projects and offices across the country.
