The Digital Safety meetings, organised by HelpAge India in partnership with All India Retired Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRRF), Secunderabad and Chilakalaguda, provided a platform for senior citizens to learn about online security, privacy protection, and safe internet practices. Mr. S. Sreedhar, President, AIRRF, & Vice President All India Senior Citizens’ Confederation (AISCCON) attended these meetings and engaged with experts who shared their knowledge and experiences related to digital safety.

Recognizing the urgency of the matter, he took the initiative to organise a series of digital safety awareness sessions specifically designed for his fellow retired railway employees from AIRRF Secunderabad and drawing from the insights gained during the HelpAge digital safety workshops, he further collaborated with experts and conducted workshops that covered topics such as online fraud prevention, secure browsing, phishing awareness and safe social media usage.
